This cooperation is another milestone breakthrough for Yidian in the high-end market in the Middle East after serving the Lusail Stadium of the Qatar World Cup in 2022. The Red Sea New City is located on the coast of the Red Sea. It is a typical high-salt fog and high-humidity corrosion environment, and the weather resistance requirements for infrastructure materials meet the highest international standards. The fiberglass bridge provided by Yidian adopts a composite reinforcement process of vinyl ester resin matrix and glass fiber surface felt. It has been verified by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) B117 standard salt spray test that it can operate continuously for 25 years without structural damage in a 5% sodium chloride solution spray environment. The chloride ion permeability coefficient is 300% higher than that of traditional products, which fully meets the stringent requirements for extreme environmental durability in the construction of the project’s “zero-carbon city”.

Aiming at the complex coastal working conditions of Red Sea New City, the Yidian technical team customized and developed a triple protection system:
Material innovation: Nano-scale titanium dioxide modified resin is used to increase the UV absorption rate to 98% through molecular bonding technology, slowing down the aging of the resin matrix;
Structural reinforcement: ANSYS finite element analysis was used to optimize the bridge support structure, so that the load capacity reached 1.5 tons/meter at a span of 1.8 meters, and the deflection was controlled within 1/250 of the span;
Service upgrade: Relying on the 5 million yuan emergency inventory in Dubai bonded warehouse, we can achieve 72-hour emergency supply in the Middle East, and equipped with a professional engineer team to provide on-site installation technical support.
